2. Purpose of the Site

The purpose of the Site is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations, in obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). It is a Christian and ecumenical digital space, free of charge and non-profit, devoted to sharing the Word of God, reflections on Christian living, biblical history, information on the work of churches around the world, good news of a religious nature, testimonies of faith and a service for receiving prayer requests. Content is offered in Spanish and English.

The Site is not officially affiliated with any particular denomination, church or religious organisation unless expressly stated. References to different Christian traditions are made for informational purposes and in a spirit of ecumenical respect.

3. Acceptance of these terms

Accessing and using the Site makes you a user and implies full acceptance of this Legal Notice, the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy and Personal Data Policy, the Cookie Policy and any other conditions published. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Site.

4. Proper use of the Site

Users undertake to use the Site in accordance with the law, morality, public order and this Legal Notice. In particular, users undertake not to:

a) Publish or send offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, violent or obscene content, or content that incites hatred against any person or group, including other religious confessions.
b) Impersonate another person or publish third parties’ personal data without their authorisation.
c) Publish sensitive data of third parties, especially health information or information about minors, without the authorisation of the data subject or their legal representative.
d) Send unsolicited advertising, chain messages, requests for money or content for commercial purposes.
e) Introduce viruses or malicious code, or carry out actions that affect the operation of the Site.
f) Use the Site for unlawful activities or activities contrary to the rights of third parties.

5. Content submitted by users

The Site allows users to send prayer requests, testimonies and contact messages. Users declare that the information they send is truthful, that they are its authors and that they have the necessary authorisations when it concerns third parties.

By publishing a testimony or a request on the public prayer wall, the user grants the owner of the Site a free, non-exclusive authorisation to display that content on the Site for the purpose of spiritual edification, without this implying any transfer of the user’s moral rights as author. Users may request the removal of their content at any time by writing to the contact email.

The owner reserves the right to review, moderate, edit for length or safety, or remove any content that breaches this Legal Notice, without prior notice. The owner does not guarantee the publication of all content received. Opinions expressed by users are their sole responsibility.

6. Prayer requests and health

The prayer request service is exclusively spiritual in nature. The content of the Site and prayer do not in any case replace diagnosis, treatment or follow-up by physical or mental health professionals, nor legal, financial or any other professional advice. We recommend that anyone with health problems see their doctor or the appropriate health services.

In an emergency, a life-threatening situation or a situation of violence, contact your country’s emergency services immediately. In Colombia you can dial 123. The Site does not provide emergency services.

7. Intellectual and industrial property

The original texts, design, logo, icons, structure, and the selection and arrangement of the Site’s content are owned by the owner or used with due authorisation, and are protected by Colombian Law 23 of 1982 on copyright, Andean Community Decision 351 of 1993 and other applicable rules.

Sharing links to the Site and quoting short excerpts of articles for non-commercial purposes, citing the source and link, is permitted. Total reproduction, distribution, transformation or public communication for commercial purposes without the owner’s prior written authorisation is prohibited.

Spanish Bible quotations come from the Reina-Valera 1909 translation with updated spelling, and English quotations from the King James Version, both in the public domain. Third-party trademarks, names and signs that may be mentioned belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer

The owner strives to ensure that the information published is correct and up to date, but does not guarantee the absence of errors and is not responsible for decisions users make based on it. Blog articles are formative and devotional in nature and reflect a Christian perspective that respects the diversity of traditions.

The owner is not responsible for service interruptions due to technical causes, maintenance or force majeure, for damages arising from improper use of the Site by users, or for content published by third parties.

9. Links to third-party sites

The Site may contain links to external pages. The owner does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, privacy policies or availability. Including a link does not imply endorsement of, or any relationship with, those responsible for it.

10. Minors

Minors should use the Site’s forms under the supervision of their parents or legal representatives. Personal information from minors is not intentionally requested. If a parent or representative discovers that a minor has sent information, they may request its deletion.

11. Changes

The owner may modify the content, structure and conditions of this Legal Notice at any time. Changes take effect from their publication on the Site. We recommend reviewing this document periodically.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute arising from the use of the Site shall be submitted to the competent courts of Medellín, Colombia, without prejudice to any rights the law grants users in matters of consumer protection or personal data.
