This Cookie Policy explains which storage technologies are used by Amen, a site whose purpose is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations, what they are used for and how you can manage them. It complements the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the user’s browser to remember information between visits. There are similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage), that serve a similar function. In this policy we use the word “cookies” to refer to all of them.
By purpose, they can be technical or necessary (they allow the site to work), preference cookies (they remember choices such as language), analytics cookies (they measure visits) or advertising cookies (they show personalised ads). By who manages them, they can be first-party or third-party.
2. Cookies used by this Site
The Site uses the bare minimum. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not sell browsing information.

This data is stored only in the user’s browser, does not identify the user personally and is not sent to any server by the Site.
3. Third-party resources
Google Fonts: the Site loads typefaces from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) to display text correctly. When these fonts load, the user’s browser connects to Google, which may receive technical data such as the IP address and browser type. According to Google’s public information, this service does not set cookies in the user’s browser. Any processing by Google is governed by its own privacy policy.
Hosting platform: the provider that hosts the Site and stores prayer requests, testimonies and messages may use its own technical and security cookies for its operation, subject to its own policies.
If in the future the Site adds analytics tools to learn in which nations the Gospel is being read, or third-party videos or social media, this policy will be updated and, where appropriate, the user’s prior consent will be requested.
4. Legal basis
In Colombia, information obtained through cookies that can identify a person is considered personal data and is governed by Law 1581 of 2012. The technical and preference cookies used by the Site are necessary to provide the service requested by the user. For visitors located in the European Union, the Site follows the criterion of Directive 2002/58/EC, under which strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, while analytics or advertising cookies do.
5. Cookie notice
On the first visit, the Site shows a short notice about this policy. Clicking “Got it” stores your choice in the browser. You can view the notice again at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
6. How to manage or delete cookies
You can delete local storage and cookies, or block them, from your browser settings:

Mozilla Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data.
Safari: Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data.
Microsoft Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions.
Mobile browsers: in each browser’s settings or privacy menu.
If local storage is deleted or blocked, the Site will keep working, but it will not remember your chosen language and will show the cookie notice again.

This policy may be updated when the technologies used or the applicable regulations change. The date of the last update appears at the top.
