1. Purpose of the site

Amen (hereinafter, “the Site”) exists to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations: to proclaim the love of God, the death and resurrection of Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit and the hope of eternal life, in several languages and to people of any country, culture or condition. To fulfil that purpose, the Site publishes biblical teaching, articles on Christian living, Psalms, biblical history, ecumenical information, good news about the work of churches, testimonies and a prayer request service.

The Site is free and non-profit. It does not sell products or services, does not require donations and does not make prayer or access to its content conditional on any payment.

2. Owner

The Site is managed by GLOBALINSURANCEMALL (GIM), tax ID (NIT) 11275422075, domiciled in Medellín, Colombia, email pachoviloriainsurances@gmail.com.

3. Acceptance

By accessing, browsing or sending information through the Site, users accept these Terms and Conditions, the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Anyone who does not agree must refrain from using the Site. Minors must have the acceptance of their parents or legal representatives.

4. Principles of the ministry

The Gospel is proclaimed on the Site according to these principles:

a) Freedom of conscience: people are invited to know Christ with respect, without pressure, manipulation or coercion. Each person is free to accept the message or not, in accordance with the freedom of religion and worship recognised in Article 19 of the Political Constitution of Colombia and in international human rights treaties.
b) Ecumenical respect: the various Christian churches and traditions, and people of other beliefs or of no religious belief, are spoken of with respect.
c) Faithfulness to Scripture: the content seeks to be faithful to the Bible and quotes public-domain translations.
d) Free of charge: “Freely ye have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8).
e) Care for people: prayer and teaching do not replace medical, psychological, legal or emergency care.

5. Services offered by the Site

Content: freely readable articles, studies and informational pages. Prayer requests: users can send a private request, visible only to the administrator, or publish it on the prayer wall. Testimonies: users can share what God has done in their lives to encourage others. Contact: users can get in touch to share their church’s work, send good news or ask questions. Good news: the administrator publishes religious and humanitarian news.

The Site does not guarantee an individual reply to every message, although it will try to handle requests within a reasonable time. Prayer requests are received and presented to God in faith; the Site does not promise any particular outcome.

6. User obligations

Users undertake to:

a) Provide truthful information that is their own.
b) Not publish personal or sensitive data of third parties without their authorisation, especially of minors or about other people’s health.
c) Not send offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, violent or sexually explicit content, or content that incites hatred, including hatred against people of other religions or denominations.
d) Not use the Site for commercial purposes, partisan politics, advertising, fundraising or recruiting people for organisations unrelated to the Site.
e) Not impersonate other people, churches or organisations.
f) Not attempt to breach the Site’s security, send malicious code or make automated mass submissions.
g) Respect the copyright of third parties.

7. Content moderation

The administrator may review, edit for length, spelling or data protection, decline to publish or remove any request, testimony or message that breaches these Terms, contains sensitive data of third parties or is inconsistent with the purpose of the Site. Moderation seeks to protect users and maintain an edifying environment, and does not constitute censorship of personal convictions.

8. Licence to share the Gospel

Because the purpose of the Site is for the Gospel to reach the nations, any person, church or organisation is authorised to copy, translate, print and share the Site’s original articles for evangelism, teaching or edification, for non-commercial purposes, provided that:

a) The source “Amen” and the link to the Site are credited.
b) The meaning of the text is not altered, and translations are identified as such.
c) The content is not sold or used for financial gain.
d) The Site is not associated with positions, campaigns or organisations without authorisation.

This authorisation does not cover the logo, visual identity or design of the Site, whose rights are reserved under Colombian Law 23 of 1982 and Andean Community Decision 351 of 1993. Testimonies and requests belong to their authors and may not be reproduced outside the Site without their consent.

9. Content submitted by users

By publishing a testimony or a request on the wall, the user grants the owner a free, non-exclusive and revocable authorisation to display it on the Site. The user retains their moral rights as author and may request its removal at any time through the contact form or the owner’s email.

10. Limitation of liability

The content is spiritual, formative and devotional in nature. The owner is not liable for personal, medical, family, legal or financial decisions that users make based on it, nor for users’ opinions, the content of linked sites, or interruptions or technical failures beyond its control. In an emergency, users must contact the authorities or emergency services of their country; in Colombia, dial 123.

11. Users in other countries

The Site is open to people of all nations. Anyone using it from outside Colombia is responsible for complying with the local laws that apply to them. Where applicable, the owner will respect the rights granted to users by the data protection laws of their country, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

The administrator will take care not to put at risk believers who live in countries where the Christian faith is persecuted or restricted. These users are advised not to include identifying information in public content, and may request the deletion of their data at any time.

12. Suspension and changes

The owner may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Site or its services, and may update these Terms. Changes take effect from their publication, with the date of update indicated.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. The parties will seek to resolve any disagreement in a friendly and brotherly manner, in the spirit of Matthew 18:15. If this is not possible, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Medellín, Colombia, without prejudice to the non-waivable rights the law grants to users.
